Training The What
At Chapters and Tea, we absolutely love to learn, and we love even more to educate!
Training for us is not about reading a statistic from a scientific journal, but to explore and share the ins and outs of a diagnosis, and the implications these diagnoses can have on everyone both mentally and physically, in a language our audience understand!
The how
- Behavioural focused training – delivered to audiences who care for an NDIS participant with a diagnosis.
- Workshop training – delivered to Allied Health Professionals to expand practitioner understanding and restrictive practice implementation.
- Industry awareness days – delivered to schools/educational facilities who are exploring career pathways and who would like insight into the industry.
- Convention panels – delivered to service providers to gain insight into the industry, challenges faced, and purpose of behavioural support.
The Why
By helping our audiences comprehend the impact a diagnosis can have on a life, psycho educating them on what that diagnosis is, and guiding them on how to implement person-centric strategies, will facilitate a much better comprehensive service. After all, our over-arching goal for all audiences is to improve our participant’s quality of life and what better way than through knowledge!
If you would like to sign up for training or would like a Practitioner to come and provide a presentation around behaviour support, please contact our Behaviour Support Practitioner/Director Emma Gillies on 0481 567 092 and she’d love to chat through your needs.
